1982PT40 propane leak protocal
Hi Jerry:
Any LP leak is a potential explosive danger. The leak from the refer would smell more like amonia than ethyl mercapita (lp aditive) The leak could be coming form the valve on the back of the refer or from the secondary regulator there. Switch off the sensor under the refer. Then close the main valve at the tank proper. A mobile RV tech, one who has an electronic lp sniffer can locate the leak, but more importantly he will be able to do a pressure drop test to make sure, in fact, you have a leak.
