Source for cruise control vacuum generator?
Kerry,
There was a forum update offering a generator in the last 10 days or so. Do a search you may find it. Anyone know a source for the cruise control vacuum generator on an 82 FC 35? I called Bluebird and they don't carry them. Their parts department had no idea where I might get one. They seemed to think the vacuum generator came from Ford. Tom Warner posted 3-G Productions, but while they rebuild Bendix cruise controls, they don't carry vacuum generators. If you don't know a source for the generator, can you tell me what the two output lines on the generator are for? Are they both vacuum lines? If I can't find an identical replacement I may have to put something together and I need to know if I need two vacuum outputs or something else. My bus needs to suck again.
