City water hook up 79 FC

Don, if you have separate connections there is no need for a sporlan valve to
direct the water flow. You may have other sporlan valves, but not one to direct
water to fill the tank. Also both water connections should have a check valve
either built in or right behind the water connection.

Bruce This one has the separate fill & city connections. I didn't know if
it had a sporlan valve besides the one in the city hook up.

Don, on my 83 the check valve is right at the water connection. I think that
some of the earlier models had separate connections for city water bypass
and fill. In either case the city water bypass connection has to have a
built-in/attached check valve to keep water from flowing out the connection.

My water connection is at the rear driver's side. Since I have a rear bath
it is in the compartment with the water heater.
