8v92 turbo pressure
John:
Boost comes from a lot more than the turbo, it can even be your gauge readings. What max. temp are you running on the EGT/Pyrometer? Boost comes from the exhaust heat/flow spinning the turbines, yada yada, but if you don't have enough fuel there won't be as much power and boost, same thing with less air, engine tune, timing, ... Start with the simple stuff, look at the air filter. Check the intake stack and screen, the air filter and housing, exhaust pipe, your fuel filters, and throttle travel/pressure. Sometimes a wire-tie will make a good teltail to show how far the throttle is moving as it will slide the wire-tie down as it moves, could be low air-pressure to your throttle or a simple adjustment. Also make sure that your emergency shutoff flap is fully open, the cable housing can burn and then the cable can't properly open/close the shutoff flap so check it manually from the rear. If all else fails, perhaps a trip to the chassis dyno at your neighborhood DD stealership will tell whether the engine is due for a tune. - Jeff Miller http://www.wanderlodge.net http://www.millercoachworks.com --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "johnorud" wrote: > > Thanks, will call Bell Turbo tomorrow and may be able to find out > why I am the slowest wanderlodge on the block.
