Water pump problem

Thanks Gardner, that makes perfect sense when you think of the
bladder acting as a diaphragm valve. I noticed that the power light
stayed lit when the pump/water stopped this last time. I'm not sure
that means there was still power to the pump. But it does lead me to
believe it is more related to the expansion tank. Thanks to all of
you for your help.
