Brad Bloxham Yuma, AZ. > brad----- a trans temp gauge is cheap insurance. will cost you about 40 dollar or so and is a heck of a lot cheaper than a tranny overhaul. you want that tranny to run as cool as you can get it to. the more heat the less life you will have in it. get one, install it, and read it all the time. the proper place for the sending unit is in the pan.( i know this will cause a stir but lets see what others say. how about it, who wants to say otherwise,and tell us why. ed and peggy mcstay 1983 FC RB 35FT "lonesome dove" |
