How do I remove a furnace
Hello Phil,
Assuming your coach is configured like mine, with two separate bunks, the water
tank,
water heater and furnace all under the driver side bunk, I can offer the
following
suggestions on furnace removal.

First shut off LPG supply valves at the LPG tank and at the access door on the
outside of
the coach behind the Dometic refrigerator. Then shut off AC power to the coach.

1. Remove 4 screws on the chrome vent plate on the outside and extract the
inlet and
exhaust vent pipes.

2. Remove the 2 screws holding the register plaate to the side of the bunk and
remove
the register.

3. Remove the small screws that fasten the hot air duct to the furnace outlet.
This is a
tight fit on mine and it takes a little persuasion to get the air duct off the
furnace outlet.

4. Remove the furnace outlet from the furnace box by flipping the two latches
to the open
position.

5. Remove the screw that is located at the bottom of the furnace box that
secures the box
to the plywood floor below.

6. Disconnect the LPG line and electrical wires.

7. Remove the furnace.

Hope you find this helpful. It's as close as I can come from memory. Good luck
with your
leak. My leak turned out to be the water heater when I finally got to it.
