Speaking of awnings....
I may not have the answer but I have "my" theory. My large awning was reasonably
straight when I purchased my coach. It is the original awning and will soon be replaced. A few times over the past three years the awning was wet from rain when I rolled it up to move on. I wonder if the weight of the water causes the aluminum extrusion cover and the internal roller bar to flex over time and lose memory? Mine has a slight but noticable dip in the middle. Plus it took a thrashing in SPI over Christmas. The big awning on my PT "sags" in the retracted position. It deploys and retracts just fine, no problems with the operation, but when it is rolled up, there is a definate sag in the middle. Any ideas? Scott Forman 86 PT38 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
