Speaking of awnings....
I must have cheated on that. I didn't use the two skinny guys or the fat
guy. I put a step ladder at each end & I got in the middle. It worked for me. I
also put one extra turn on the spring than what they recommended.

If the tube is bent but does not have any kinks in it
The remedy is 2 skinny guys and one fat guy
position one skinny guy at each end and place fat guy in middle the
skinny guys hold the tube and the fat guy GENTLY pulls down to
straighten tube
