Speedometer
I had a similar problem on my 82FC and it was a very dirty sensor on
the rear axle. One of my brake drums has notches cut in the edge and a sensor reads the speed of the notches and signals to the speedo. My sensor was covered in mud and dirt. After a good cleaning, everything has worked fine. Hope this helps, a lot easier than pulling a speedo.
