Air leak finally solved!
Sunday before Kathy broke her wrist I was servicing the AD2. I had
purchased a new cartridge and purge valve kit. The parts counter person recommended that I also replace the integral check valve that is on the output of the AD2. I had everything together and was making an air test when Kathy had her accident. I shut down and took her to emergency. That was Sunday. Today, Wednesday, I went out to the bird and when I opened the door the step actuated! I tried the steering and seat locks and they also worked. BIG improvement. Up until now about five hours was as long as the auxiliary air would stay up. The whole rebuild took about 2.5 hours although I got pretty dirty. I had rebuilt the AD2 before but never replace the check valve. Just for information. - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
