one legged genny
Are there separate grounds for the different legs? I keep hearing a lot of the
phantom 12V problems come from bad grounds fixed on or near the bottom of the coach near moisture, mud and road spray? Just an idea. So far I've had no problem w/ that part of my coach. Best of luck.Brad Barton 00LXiDFW bbartonwx@... My leg 2 works fine, but my leg 1 is intermittent. Sometimes when I start the genny both legs have power, other times only leg 2 has power. I assume the generator has a separate coil and field winding for each leg. I suppose there could be a problem with one of the field windings or with the regulator that feeds current to the field windings. Could this be an issue with the brushes? I guess a call to Powertech is in order. Thanks,David Brady'02 LXi, NC _________________________________________________________________ Messenger Café â open for fun 24/7.
