no fuel
The fuel shutoff solenoid is located just above the injection pump which is
in the forward end of the V-8 s valley. It requires 12 volts to operate, (open to allow fuel). Absence of the 12 volts will not allow fuel to the injection pump hence no start. Assuming that you have fuel in the filter you haven't just changed the filter have you? Then, the solenoid is where I would start. Steve Anderson 79 FC 35 Poulsbo, Wa. Engine spins and will start with a shot of wd40, but am getting no fuel from to the injectors to the cylinders. Where would the pump be, or the device , solenoid or whatever makes the pump run? Is there a separate fused circuit between the ignition switch and the pump? Any other ideas?
