Can I weld on my exhaust.
I hit a low hanging limb with our farm tractor and cracked the exhaust
where the pipe enters the muffler. I was able to weld the two back together. This has been about 6 years ago and it is still holding today. Just make sure that where you weld is not rusted very much (only surface rust that can be removed). You will need enough metal thickness to support the depth of weld. If you are not a welder, find someone with a MIG or TIG welder to do the work.
