How many floor / levels does my black tank have?
going down from the top is fine,as long as your drain is open.i have seen the
drain pipe full of the "mud" as well as the tank, which will not allow it to drain.you may have to go at it from the bottom and the top, just make sure that it is draining so as not to flood the coach. a simple replacement valve must mean another type or brand valve?that means you will have to cut and glue the pipe etc.if you just fix the valve on the coach it takes only 5 minutes and $22 ! randydupree93wb ----- Original Message ----- From: Henry Claeys To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, May 13, 2005 11:05 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] How many floor / levels does my black tank have? Randy. (1) Thanks for your reply. Jim March had suggested a high pressure wash from above, through the commode, while your suggesting the reverse. Were you also suggesting a high pressure wash? (2) I don't have a high pressure washer. Which type/brand should I purchase if the high pressure washer is necessary. (3) Drain Valve. FYI, I had purchased a simple replacement valve because the old one was getting hard to close. I was planning on installing it over the weekend but then this happened meaning that I now have a new job to deal with before replacing the valve. Any advice on this matter is appreciated. Thanks. (2) What confuses me is, even after apparently emptying the black system, I still see water when I look down the hole through the commode. Why is there water in the tank below the commode even after emptying the black tank? I never used to notice the water until I discovered the above described drain problem. Thanks.
