Buzzer sounding in dash
Once, I had a mysterious buzzer come on in the dash. Nothing amiss. Gauges all ok. No warning lights. Checked everything as I sat by the side of the road. Buzzer quit when I shut down and came back on when I restarted. No error codes in the system. Complete puzzlement. Sat by the road for about half an hour (poking at this and that) in complete befuddlement. Started up again -- buzzer sounding. Continued on my way another 50 miles (to a SWBB rally) trying to ignore the buzzer.Â
Next morning, no buzzer. No repeat ever since. Have driven 15,000 miles since then. Still OK. Still no idea what was going on or why the buzzer was sounding.
Just watch your gauges and keep your fingers crossed. PS. I wish BB had made the @$#$%!! buzzers easier to get to -- I'd have disconnected a wire if I could have located the darn thing.
