Buzzer sounding in dash
I suppose it could have been a low or out of position jack. The California freeways are notoriously bumpy. They've never given any trouble before or since. But it's not one of the things that came to mind to check. They do take quite a long time to clear the lights on the HWH panel when raising them -- but I always do a walk around and check to see that the jacks are fully retracted before moving the coach.

Probably didn't affect the fuel mileage much. Might even improve it...

Actually, one rear jack was only about an inch lower than the other,
in it's normal place retracted and stored, not noticeable at all
visually unless you squat and reference a point on the frame. just
enough to jiggle the connection I suppose. It's off and on now, bumpy
101 at times.
at least now I know what the buzzer is when it goes. Will deal with it
at home, the jacks need some R&R anyway, as per JP's short fix it list.
Pete,
did you use your leveling jacks when  you spent the night?
Maybe yours had shook down a little...if you used them for your stay
when you lifted the levelers they parked correctly and stayed.
I will check the hydraulic resevoir in the morning. Haven't been
needing to use them but know we've got some drips from the levelers.
Need to get them rebuilt I know.
thanks rose mary

Once, I had a mysterious buzzer come on in the dash. Nothing amiss.
Gauges all ok. No warning lights. Checked everything as I sat by the
side of the road. Buzzer quit when I shut down and came back on when I
restarted. No error codes in the system. Complete puzzlement. Sat by
the road for about half an hour (poking at this and that) in complete
befuddlement. Started up again -- buzzer sounding. Continued on my way
another 50 miles (to a SWBB rally) trying to ignore the buzzer.
Next morning, no buzzer. No repeat ever since. Have driven 15,000
miles since then. Still OK. Still no idea what was going on or why the
buzzer was sounding.
Just watch your gauges and keep your fingers crossed.
PS. I wish BB had made the @$#$%!! buzzers easier to get to -- I'd
have disconnected a wire if I could have located the darn thing.

Hi group
Left Willits, CA today, heading N on 101 back to Oregon. About 60 some
miles into the drive a buzzer started sounding in the dash.
No lights, all gauges in the normal range. Not overheated....hmm
Checked all fluid levels before we left.
Pulled over in a safe place and did a walk around, everything fine.
When the radiator cools I'll recheck fluid level.
When I turn the key on without starting the engine the buzzer comes
on...not low air etc.
If the rad. level ok , any thing I should be forwarned about if I
drive on the Eureka, another 80 miles or so?
Bird is running fine....
Thanks
