Large Zip Dee Awning mount/fastener pulled out from Bird Skin
I have a lot of aluminum stock which I always find uses for when repairing
my 1982. I restored a 1976 GMC motorhome and had the same problem you are
experiencing,m pulled the bottom bracket off the body. I cut a piece of
1/4" aluminum(I polished it to a high luster) about 3" square and pop
riveted it to the body with an additional piece on the other side of the
body. Then I attached the awning bracket to that and its stronger then ever.
