Roof air

Nothing is ever simple is it? I vote for replacing the air
conditioner with another. Not all that much difference in cost when
you get down to it especially if you have to match the ceiling (and
you certainly will) I would guess it would be at least 50% of the
cost of the air conditioner. Nothing wrong with the fantastic fans.
I replaced the old fans in my FC with them and they are really nice
but you can never have too much air in an RV in my opinion. I
replaced one of the air conditioners in the "Big Napper" and that is
pretty easy. Pretty much like replacing a window unit in a house
(once you have the thing up on the roof of the Bus) I had a fellow
lift it up with a tractor and front end loader. I had the old one
loose and we set the new one up still in the box and took the old one
out and off at the same time. The new ones are lighter then the old
ones. Just like everything else seems stuff is cheapened up. Makes
it easy to move a new one around however.
