Klunking noise

I'm not sure when the automatic slack adjusters appeared (sometime in the 80's) but my coach has them. So, "all the Wanderlodges" aren't too old to have them.

FWIW, I've never heard any klunking noise from the brakes -- but a few things in the refrigerator sometimes klunk during a vigorous stop.

From what I have read on this thread all the wanderlodges are too old 

to have automatic slack adjusters. I must admit that I adjust my 

brakes a lot. If I am going to slide under the bus to check the 

brakes I might as well adjust them.
