Has anyone checked into this device??
Jack,

A long time ago I tried these remedies on a 1979 Ford 460 engine. Even built a fuel pre-heater to atomize gasoline; along with water injection...the 460 got better HP/MPG, and no "ping"; pulled the trailer beyond belief. Not sure what this was doing to the engine. I abandoned the project because I was out of time. Perhaps I should dig this project out from the moth balls...might make a few bucks.

Yeah Jon: I dont think this is anything new, except the hype.

Crosley made an attempt at a Sportscar in the 50s called the "HotShot"

that used a water injection system. They ran a 10 or 10.5

compression, and used the water to control detonation, or something

like that. I think they also said to add alchol to the mixture..

Oldsmobile had something similar on their small supercharged F85,

during the same era, I think..

Wasn't something similar on the P-38 Lightning's turbochargers during

WW-2 ?
