Hub problem resolved
If anyone is interested.
If anyone is interested. It turns out that there is a larger reservoir then can be seen in the sight glass of the hub. When the installer put in the new hubs he neglected to completely fill the hub so I wasn't seeing any level. He used silicon on the paper gasket which caused a little leakage that clued me into the whole thing. Anyway, I put another 700 miles on the bus since topping off the hub level and replacing the gasket and everything looks good. Thanks again for the help. Al S. '81 31' FC Now in Sturgis, SD PS. The RV Park here in downtown Sturgis is only charging $12 per night while they're restrooms are being remodeled. Full hook-up's with 50 amp and 70 cable channels. Nice Park. In case anyone is traveling through in the next few weeks. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
