BBQ Bay Upgrade/ was inverter RV3012 M upgrade Photos
Well after a long post a few weeks ago the inverters are still not
installed. They will have to go back in their origonal place. When you only have lemons make lemon aide. I had already started to upgrade the shelf to support the 120LBS of the 2 inveters. I lined the shelf with some sheet metal and built an aluminum T bracket to support the weight, and a few new angles to beef up the shelfs capacity. You can see these pics in my album BUMPERSBIRD or just click on the new photos on the home page. The first on 62208-1 is the metal linning the second 62208-2 is the support bracket. The third photo is my answer to which grill should I have in the BBQ Bay? Well I liked the electric grill and after a good look and working on it, it is a really well built grill, so I decided to keep it. Sorry guys, I'll have to retract my offer to sell it. I also agree with the idea of a gas grill especially an infrared grill. I chose the Solaire most because as you can see from the photos the two units fit on the slide out. Gas or Electric? Yes Why not both well? Yes, and it all fits quite well. I shot this photo at night I'll get some better one in the AM. The last pic, 62208-4, is my engine compartment cooling fans, I just got them in this evening and need to hook up the control systems. I think I may get the frame powder coated black, because when the gill is closed you can see all the framing from the outside, I'm not sure I can live with that look. Hopefully I get up to N'ville in the next few weeks to get the inverters put in. Kurt Horvath 95 PT-42 WLWB 10AC |
