power steering pump
Thanks to all the folks that sent me helpful tips. I was finally able to get a re-man Power Steering Pump from my local Blue-Bird school bus dealer. Blue-Bird in Ga told me before that they are unable to locate a pump supplier. My dealer here found one AFTER spending some time on the phone and the Net. Turned out that all of us birders may have 2 sources of part numbers.
First source - CHASSIS PARTS CATALOG. This must be a more general type with some part numbers that are not good any more. Then we have a SERVICE PARTS SHEET. This is where the part numbers are actually the ones used in your bird. And that is what my BB dealer used. to find this elusive pump.
