Information on batterys
Jon, My bus is the same. I believe that originally there would have
been a battery in the generator compartment which was to start the
genny. The previous owner(s) wired my bus so that battery was not
necessary. Nothing much original after 35 years on my bus. I have 4
house batteries in the forward drivers side compartment. These are 6
volts. On the passengers side forward compartment there is a 12 volt
marine style battery which is to start the engine. I have never
completely sorted out the method or madness in all of this but it seems
to work.
