Jon, My 77FC31 is set up as Gardner mentioned. It is powered by a 534 c.i.Ford SD gas engine, with (4) 6volt batterys up front. The 6.5 KWOnan gas gen. starts from its own 12V battery in that compartment. George Burke 1977FC31 Charlotte
