Refir LP and LP Heat Switch

Refir LP and LP Heat Switch

I have been having sporadic luck getting my refir to work on LP. This
evening, I have determined that it appears that it will only work on LP
when the "LP Heat" switch on the dash is in the on position. Anyone
have any opinion why this would be? One should have nothing to do with
the other.
