Batteries Bad
A few years ago, my brother-in-law worked for a battery rebuild company. Be very careful with remanufactured batteries. Some are excellent, some are good, and some are very poorly done. Remanufactured batteries rarely have any warranty.
The company my B-I-L worked for mostly sold their batteries to used car dealers. The quality they produced were OK, but hardly "great." The dealers only wanted to pay for a battery that would hold up for a few weeks while the car was on the lot, then they didn't care if the battery died once the car was sold. My brother-in-law used one of their batteries in his car -- but then, he could replace it whenever it went bad... Presumably, an industrial battery supplier might be stocking somewhat better refurbished units, since they probably do a lot of repeat business. But the warning is to be careful about your supplier if you want to work with rebuilt batteries.
