Thanks Ernie,
I will clean the units well, should i take the plate off on the left
side of the units and clean and look around? Is it possible for me to
refill with R-22 or do i have to get someone to do that?

they have the ports for a tech to attach his gauges to. I had a
problem with my middle one where the outside fan was bad. Thus it
would not cool. I replaced the fan for about 80 bucks and it works
great. You can wash out the fins that are way inside as those are the
heat dissipators and get a lot of road crud.
