Fuse hunt
Well, I'm replacing the stereo in the overhead panel. I've never seen such a
rats nest of wires in my life and not a wire tie to be found. So, I spent a good hour sorting the wires, wire tied them together as needed and installed the stereo. In the shuffle, I guess the hot wire must of grounded because it lost power. I put a tester on it and it's no longer hot. I pulled the Blue Box and went through the wiring diagrams. It appears that wire goes to the front load center on the left. I pulled that panel and can't seem to locate any fuses. The drawing shows fuses, but I can't find them. Have I gone blind? Did I miss something? Or, is the drawing wrong? I do have an 85 PT40 but the drawing is for a 36. I suppose someone could have changed the drawings somewhere along the line. Any idea on where the fuse may be located? Anyone with an 85 PT40 ever had fuse issues? As always, thanks. Jerry 85 PT40 Port Hueneme, CA |
