FC Owner Uses Sawzall and Sledgehammer to Install New Gauge in EL Panel
the el panels were cast in place and then applied to the panel the y may cover
the entire panel or just a portion of it There are up to five individual pouches that are applied after to holes are cut There are different configurations that change by year if the light is a little off in the application you would have a failure My advice is dont take the chance take it for what it is worth Stephen 77fc35 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "g_man1146" > > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Eric Johnson" > > > > > > > > >It felt a little like being talked out of jumping out a 10 story window! > > Eric, > > In this case it is "OK" to jump, just not through the electroluminescent lines on the dash! You can drill between them as BB did for all of the gauges and switches but one cut through the EL lines and the panel is toast. > > Rich D. '99LXi43' CT > |
