Mounting Hardware
__There are several ways to approach this. Are the holes mutilated
when you remove the old fasteners? If the are, they can be helicoiled, if they are too bad for that, you can install any of several types of threaded inserts. To see what available, visit a local mill supply house. These are aircraft quality parts, no fear of them failing in proper application. Any way you guys described a Stainless fastener that is inserted into the newly drilled holes, then new bolts were screwed into the inserts. WOULD YA'LL REFRESH MY MEMORIE. I can't find the old posts. My coach was a Florida Coach and it's starting to show especially on the old roof hardware. Kurt Horvath 95 PT 42 10Ac |
