Teri,

Assuming the new TV has a Headphone Jack, it can be used to get the sound to the speakers. The Head Phone output is weak so the sound should go through an amp. I had already replaced the amp system in our coach so I used Y-adapters to connect the Headphone Jack wires to the amp.

Hello to all,

We are looking into changing out the front old Panasonic TV in our bus to a newer flat pannel and were wondering if anyone had any experience with tapping into the current sound how it is set up.

Currently the only sound from the front tv comes out of the speakers by the sofa and dinette. Found that BB had drilled a hole in back of old tv and tapped into old tv speakers and ran a wire that looks like it goes to 2 separate wires that goto the coach speakers which also are the ones for the radio. Am I making any sense?

Can we get a new tv and use composite cables and tap into these same wires so we can use the bigger speakers? What is the best way to do this?

Does anyone know if the current setup uses the dash stereo amp or if there is a separate amp? Any help, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much!
