Rear view monitor
JR,
I installed the identical system in our 83 FC about 1.5 years ago ($199) and It works well. Because I installed the camera behind the glass camera window, the IR lights bounce off it in the dark and there is too much glare to see in the dark. If you mount the camera externally, you will not have this problem. I am considering mounting it outside, but I am reluctant to drill more holes. So far, this is something I can live with. There may be a way to disconnect the IR lights I have not researched this yet. NH Bill 1983 FC "Casa Billisa" |
