Ernie, in your reply concerning the above, you mentioned that about 5 years ago
you obtained a print out from BB of bird owners that was about 2" thick. Do you
remember what other info., other than names that were posted? If it showed the
type of Bird, as 1977 FC31 Gas, etc., that would be great information to know.
Some day in the future, as some of you have, I would like to upgrade to a newer
and larger Wanderlodge, and that kind of info., such as how many of each type
are out there would be a big help. It might steer me one way or another, as, I
might not look for a PT 36, if only a very few were built/and still on the road.
I do at present very much like the PT36, and PT38, as well as the SP. And alas,
if it was newer than 5yrs. old, I can guarantee you that some else would have to
buy it anyway. Bluebird, the transit and school bus folks, are still making a
front engine body, as well as rear engine transit models. Sure would like to see
someone make a FC/PT type Wanderlodge again from these bodys. After all, most of
us aren't millionares, and after X amount of years, could afford to buy a used
one. As I remember, isn't this how Wanderlodge got its start? Regards, George
