Using Trans. Retarder & Jake Brake
Jake stopping power is rated using horsepower. wonder if there is a hp rate for
the trans retarder on your allison??? would you add the two or multiply. I had a four cylinder jeep 1999 that would down shift on the flat to maintain 70mph. I used the air conditioner compressor as a jake and always wondered if turning on the headlights would slow it down even more.
