Air leaking from front when brakes applied

Are you able to see the line that comes from
the frame to the brakes? I ask because I've had it cut into after the upper
shock mount tore free, and the only easy way to see without taking off the
wheel was with a small camera, reaching in above the tire and taking pictures.
