Gas springs for compartment doors
Greetings:
Look for the force numbers on yours in the middle of the sequence of digits near the "F" number: on my exterior Stabilus units a typical example is "1657EE 0500N 307/09 A 5" which is a 500 Newton (metric unit of force) or about 110 lbs unit. The interior springs on my '87 were replaced by a previous owner with Supra 9" 35lb units. I recently replaced the exterior springs with FBN12K 500 Newton (~110 lb) Stabilus units from Orr and Orr. What kind of thrust lbs should I use ? > > It's an '86 PT40 ... > > THANKS !! > |
