window frames
Welcome to the forum.
All of the windows that I have seen on BB are made out of aluminum. I have been told that BB made the windows in the mid 90's coaches. (Maybe even earlier years???) All the finishes I have seen on the outside of the window frame have been an anodized finish. The fact that you mentioned that something was peeling makes me think that someone may have painted those frames. Anodizing doesn't peel as far as I know. Anodizing is an oxidizing process that forms a layer of "rust" on the surface. It's possible that the anodizing is wearing off but this doesn't occur as peeling so far as I know. There is a rubber seal that goes around the window. I doubt if that is peeling. I can't comment on a BB logo on your door. Honestly, I don't recall seeing a logo on the doors. One suggestion that has been one of the protocols of this forum: It is helpful if, when you sign your name, you put the year and the model of your Bluebird. Eric Perplies 1996 PT-42 |
