Don, I believe that the owner between you and me had the coach repainted. The
flexibility would have been lost even if they just re-clear coated the rubber.
When BB (and most re-painters) painted these coaches they used the same paint on
the rubber as they did on the metal. That paint is not the same as that used for
rubber or flexible objects. I'm sure it may become less flexible over time (I
did!) but the paint was already cracked on the wheels when I bought that coach
with 6000 miles and one year old. The repaint lasted and was perfect when I sold
it in 2001.
