1979 3208 Starter and Solenoid

I am late in this discussion, but are you
sure that you have a bad starter? I thought I had a starter problem when
we first got our Wanderlodge but when I measured the voltage dtop from the
battery to the starter when it was trying to turn over the engine it I measured
around 4 VDC drop. I had new cables made up and it would start without
turning over. (Still does)

There's four of their stores in McAllen
and if they don't have it, they could point you to a good local source.
