FWIW...Our Bronco was converted to R134 several years ago. Removed the oil. Added the correct oil. Replaced the dryer. Vacuumed the system. Added the R134. Still blowing cold air.

Not so fast....the hoses/lines made for R12 aren't necessarily compatible with R134a. I've heard a lot of complaints about conversions not cooling as well, or, not working at all after a while because the freon leaks out, unless of course, you convert everything and spend a lot of $$$.
