CAT 3208 89SP --- anyone replaced OIL TEMP sender, what's location?

On our Cat 300 HP the sensor is near the rear side of the oil cooler, it has
one wire. Vee Three now owns teleflex, What ever gage get a match set gage &
sensor, the sensor usually comes with bushings to adapt to 1/2. 1/4 or 3/8

How do you get to the dash gauges to replace one? I have never been behind
there.
