Toad Battery Charging
I disconnect my battery because I don't want the airbags to deploy if I have too stomp on the brakes too quickly. I'm not sure they will deploy but I'm not going to risk it. Now on to the next phase. The Wrangler owners manual recommends disconnecting the batter when towing 4 down. My SMI brake unit uses the battery for the vacuum pump so disconnecting the battery is not a good option. I located this http://www.lslprodu on the net. Anyone have experience with this unit? What have others done to keep the toad battery charged while going down the road? Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92 "MacAttack Racing" |
