Fire Hazard
Ken,
We had those vertical electric heaters on our '84 FC. Brad (former LXi) "bbartonwx@hotmail.com" http://www.bradsweather.com To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com From: ken.hvac-conserve@... Date: Thu, 1 Jul 2010 17:07:26 -0400 Subject: RE: [WanderlodgeForum] Fire Hazard Ernie,
Are heaters used with the 84pt40?

After removing a fresh water tank on an SP, we found that the freeze protection mat had scorched the bottom of the tank and the plywood floor. It had been so hot in the past to scorch a plastic zip tie. Anyone that has this setup should absolutely discontinue using it. I will post a few photos in the photo section and will title it fire hazard.
