Generator Problem
I am having trouble with the genarator in my 88 pt 40. It is a yanmar. I started
it and it ran for some time normally then shut off. Now it will not start from any of the switches, I just get a clicking noise from one of the bosch relays in that little metal box by the gen in the foreward compartment. I replaced that and it does the same clicking. I can start the genarator by jumping across the starter while holding the throttle solonoid in a bit, but it stopps as soon as I let go. I checked and there is no voltage at the solonoid while it is running. Also there is now power in the bus while the genarator is running. Any ideas? Robert Rahn 88 pt 40 Kalispell, Mt |
