Generator Problem
Ralph, so I went back out to check a few things. The starter will not run at all
from any of the switches. The battery is new and 12.9 volts. I checked at the top of the starter and it is 12.9 there as well. When I jump across the two large posts on the starter the gen starts and runs as long as the actuator is held in. When I switch the coaches manual power switch from 50 amp to gen. there is no power in the coach. I checked the coolant level and oil level and checked for any disconected wires on anything ion the engine. There is only a small 10 amp fuse on the control box and that is okay. The items you listed under further checks I am not at all familiar with. Am i over my head with this already, or is there anything I can check? Thanks for your help, Robert --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Ralph L. Fullenwider" wrote: > > Hi Robert: > > The fuel solenoid is what your holding slightly to run the generator.
