Fireproof safes
I'm guessing the built in safe in my '86 PT-40 is not fireproof, and any cash
carried would be lost if the coach burned to the ground, yeah? So I'm considering buying a fire proof safe. I'm fishing for mounting locations / ideas, but more importantly, wondering if ANY fireproof safes are good enough for this application? Will a 2 hour rated 1850 degree safe adequately protect it's contents in a fire fed by 300 gallons of fuel and a big old propane tank? It seems iffy at best. Any thoughts or ideas would be most appreciated. -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 |
