OUR 1993 BB IS SICK !!! HELP!!

I agree. I run VMSPc, and one of the things it shows me is the voltage the DDEC
is seeing. I was amazed at how much it jumped around, and how low it would go
(11 to 13.4 was the range I initially saw). My dash gauge was steady in the high
13 range.

Cleaning grounds helped, and I got the most stability when I added a heavy
jumper from the ground side of the batteries to a bolt on the engine itself. I
still see steady swings in the DDEC voltage, but now it is 12.8-13.4, roughly.
