Titling/registration help

I don't know where they are on the PT's Dennis, but my FC31 has Tags from the factory showing the gross Vehicle wgt,etc. up near the front of the bus. You should be able to find tags somewhere on your PT that identify the vehicle as to what it is, date of mfg., etc. There are tags that tell you the axle wgt. as well. Seems that you could take pictures of these to them. Some buses also had blue boxes that had the original paper work and a whole slew of info. on what the bus came with. Good Luck. I am in the process of trying to title and register my Blue Bird in South Dakota, however I've run in to a snag. I am in Boise Idaho and finalized the purchase last December and haven't been able to get it started since. The state of SD requires among other things a weight verification on the unit. Obviously I haven't been able to get it to a scale to fulfill this requirement and in the meantime they tell me I am allowed only 30 days from date of purchase to get it registered. After 30 days penalties and interest start accruing. It was suggested that I get verification of weight from the factory. I explained the fact that they're out of business and NADA does not list the weights in their guides. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can supply SD with an arms-length opinion, on a weight they can use?
